Difficulties of programming a cable converter USB / parallel

Hi
I program a cable converter usb / parallel, the symbol Condon printer connector is configured NULL modem
Strobe connection and ACK
Busy and PE connection to ground through a resistance
SLCT and connection to INIT ERROR through a resistance
This cord will be used to order me a stepper motor, I need to send values between 0x00 and 0xFF
Here is how I pulled the handle of the cord

Quote:
HANDLE handle = CreateFile (
"\ \ \ \? \ \ USB # Vid_067b & Pid_2305 # 5 & 36c701f9 & 0 & 10 # (a5dcbf10-6530-11d2-901f-00c04fb951ed)",
GENERIC_READ, / / | GENERIC_WRITE,
FILE_SHARE_READ, / / | FILE_SHARE_WRITE,
NULL,
OPEN_ALWAYS,
FILE_ATTRIBUTE_NORMAL,
NULL
);
for sending data using "WriteFile" (without great success)
I guess it is from these values that we build the chain of command
Here is the Bulk Out Endpoint Descriptor (recapture from the Datasheet)

Quote:
Offset Field Size Value Description
0 Byte blength ............... .... ..... 07h Size of this descriptor in bytes.
BDescriptorType Byte 1 .... .... ..... 05h EndPoint descriptor type.
BEndpointAddress Byte 2 .. 01 .... h. ... Out Endpoint 1.
Byte 3 bmAttributes ......... ... ..... 02h BULK Endpoint
4 wMaxPacketSize Word .... .. .. 0040h Maximum packet size is 64.
6 bInterval .............. ..... 00h Byte ... N / A
I think it is from these values that we build the chain of command

Quote:
Sync PID ADDR ENDP CRC5 EOP
Sync PID EOP Data0 CRC16
Sync PID EOP
1 - If so how is the CRC is calculated on this set of values Sync, PID, ADDR, ENDP (how should it be organized)
2 - What should be the value of EOP

Re: Difficulties of programming a cable converter USB / parallel

In my opinion this is not the USB device you need to recover, but the device LPTx.

As to how, I do not know.

Thank you for your response

Quote:
you must retrieve the device but rather LPTx
I do not know how, but I am afraid that special characters are not taken into account by a printer are suppressed by the driver, I really need the values of 0x00 to 0xFF, it is a more timer will start writing regularly, I do not know if Windows will love to manage USB / Series found "CreateFile, WriteFile.
My research on the USB / Parallel not possible to find an example to me great hope.
