Memory consumption. NET programs

if I have a small one. NET program (preferably VB. NET) writing, sitting with about 10-20 MB of RAM. When I look at it as KeePass Password Safe chart, I can not believe my eyes: only about 1 MB in the background (ie, minimized in the tray).

How something is possible, especially since so KeePass Password Safe lengths to a more complex application, as I write.
Of course I was with the issue some time ago and has a little memory-related code changes implemented, but with negligible impact on memory requirements. How to optimize your Eure. NET applications with regard to resource consumption? Are there any good documents on the topic?
