    .NET 3.5 Framework error

    Yesterday. NET 3.5 Framework installed. And to my horror this morning when I boot my PC was following me. Any shortcut to a. Exe file and the. Exe files are become useless . And every time I register a. Exe file to open it again, I must link to the file.

    What I have done. Programs just linked, but with each reboot, you must re-link. 3.5 Trying to shed done it (this does not). System recovery but still the same problem

    Can someone help me with a solution?

    You might try this as an alternative: Go here:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...d=333325FD-AE5...

    Scroll down to Instructions and click on the link to download the
    redistributable package instead of the bootstrapper, then try the install
    from your local hard drive.

    Try the following:
    1. Open Registry Editor (regedit in command prompt)
    2. Navigate to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet
    \Services\Eventlog\Security\ServiceModel 3.0.0.0
    3. Right click ServiceModel 3.0.0.0 select Permissions
    4. Click Advanced
    5. Under Permissions tabs, Select Inherit from parent the permission
    entries that apply to child objects. Include these with entries
    explicitly defined here.
    6. Click Apply, Click OK, Click Ok and Close Registry Editor.
