Problem With Windows Live Messenger

HI,
first of all i'd like to say hello to all.and now let's get to my problem.I can't able to uninstall windows live messenger.I have a hcl laptop with vista home premium.
Can any one let me know if I am missing something or offer a new suggestion.

Did you try downloading the windwos Live Installer, reinstalling the Messenger.
Please let us know if you did that.

i think reinstalling messenger will worked.
