indexing problem in index.php

I have uploaded all the folders in the public_html including the indexing folder.Can anyone tell what is the problem.....

did you checked the apache conf "DirectoryIndex"

adding index.php there implies that PHP is enabled on your Server

Have a look in your .htaccess file and add index.php as your DirectoryIndex there.Your server is currently set up to look for index.htm or index.html files.
