| Auto filling linked data from another table in Excel 2007
Hello, need some help. i am new to excel 2007. When I attempt to autofill the link ='[Item Master List.xls]Master List'!$C$602 Instead of giving me the data in result, it gives me just pastes the link over and over again. i want to drag the autofill so it automatically changes the link and goes to C603? Thanks for any help.

Hey your data contain "$ " sign so it is considered absolute delete the $ sign and try again, this makes the reference relative.
