DOCX file corrupt Hello. I have a relative who tried opening her .docx text file in Adobe Reader. When attempting to open it in MS Word, the text seems to be encoded incorrectly. I tried telling her to "right-click>open with>MS Word", but it asks for a default encoding. When choosing the Windows Default encoding, all she gets are 'Xs and Os'. Both of us are stumped...mainly me. She's a couple of hundred miles away in college....... Is there a way to fix this? Some very important documents are at stake here... Thanks in advance! |
