Help files for Visual Basic 6 When i type a keyword in the help option to search a specific item in VB 6, the results page is opened and if i click on any result options, it asks me for a "MSDN VS 6.0 CD2" to be inserted in the CD drive. I never had such problem with help files in VB until i reinstalled VB 6 last time. Why is it asking for CD now? Is there any way to get those help files back to my system so that it doesn't ask for CD again? |

While installing VB, you have the option of custom install. In custom install, check all the options for installation except Visual C. Thus, a full installation will solve the help file issues in VB. |

Carry out the full installation of the MSDN library. This will copy all the help files to your PC. However it takes considerable amount of space. But then, u'll not need a cd any more. |

MSDN files are quite larger in size and for full installtion, they take about 80 mb of disk space. Follow this procedure if you are willing to give this much space for those help files. |
