Vista: issues with sbs client setup.exe that runs from the batch file

We have a SBS 2003 running With Service Pack 1. There are several clients connected to this and are running Windows Vista business 32bit edition. Problem is that whenever users trying to login they get prompted with UAC for the SBS batch file in order to run \\windows\clients\setup\setup.exe. And when they click OK on UAC, it opens Program compatibility Assistant which says:

“This program has known compatibility issues. Microsoft Windows Small Business Server has a known compatibility issue with this version of Windows and might not run as expected. For more information, contact Microsoft.

Program: Microsoft Windows Small Business Server
    Publisher: Microsoft
    Location: \\Windows\Clients\Setup\setup.exe

Check for solution online / Run program / cancel (select Check for solution online)”

As the option provided in the error itself, when we click to check solution online, it says “No solution found for Microsoft Small Business Server. Windows will notify you when solutions become available. For more information about this program, contact Microsoft.” This is ridiculous. I’m sure we have applied all compatibility updates for both vista and sbs server but still don’t know from where those error are coming.

Is there any working solution for this? Many thanks for all your helps.

Microsoft has released a Patch to fix the Windows 7 and Windows Vista compatibility issues with Windows SBS 2003. I think you need it to get the problem solved. Just click this KB Page: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926505

Actually I've only gotten rid of this by taking out the SBS login script. By the way thank you for the help RaAbi.
