outlook Proxy settings to check my mail w/out VPN into my network

I want to setup outlook to be able to send/rec email with having to VPN in
first and run though my VPN client. Others in my office do this and I have
tried to match my settings to their Outlook w/out any luck. I've found
microsofts walkthrough and its exactly what i have setup but i am doing
something wrong cause it not letting me in. I do get a popup for my
username/password but of course its not accepting it. Please help. Thanks

Are you referring to Outlook using RPC-HTTP? If so follow the link on the
RWW home page called Outlook over the Internet and setup exactly as it shows
you there.

Christopher, are you logging into RWW ( Remote Web Workplace )
https://yourconfigurationforserver/remote , what do you see on the page ?

The link is specific to your setup... it gives you actual configurations for
your setup / server.

One point I find users miss is the step about 'adding server security
certificate ' to their IE.
