    Can not fix storage problem

I am not able to mount the stores and instead I am getting the below error message:

"The database files in this store are inconsistent,
    ID no: c1041739
    Exchange sytem manager"

If I am trying to run eseutil /MH then I am getting - State: Dirty Shutdown. If I am trying to run eseutil /r then I am again getting - State: Dirty Shutdown. The last one that I used was use /p and then got the below error message:

    Microsoft(R) Exchange Server Database Utilities
    Version 6.5
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All Rights Reserved.

    Initiating REPAIR mode...
    Database: priv1.edb
    Streaming File: priv1.STM
    Temp. Database: TEMPREPAIR5824.EDB

    Checking database integrity.

The database is not up-to-date. This operation may find that this database is corrupt because data from the log files has yet to be placed in the database.

To ensure the database is up-to-date please use the 'Recovery' operation.

Operation terminated with error -540 (JET_errDatabaseStreamingFileMismatch, Database and streaming file do not match each other) after 11.32 seconds.

I dont know what else to do, please help.

I would recommend you to business down the critical call to CSS which might be your best way of taking a step further.

I think that you best bet would be to run chkdsk on the drive because there could be bad sectors on the drive. You can also try to move the store to another location. Incase you are not able to move the store then you must be having some sort of serious problems. You can try to test by copying the store to another location and then deleting the store that you have made from the copy. If you are not able to delete then I recommend calling MS support. I was also having the same problem and when I changed the hard drive then everything started working fine.

I think that the databases were left as is it and then you reinstalled Exchange for some sort of reason? Did you try to install any Exchange service packs or any patches to bring it up to the similar Service Pack level it was before you reinstalled it?
