User exceeds mailbox limits

I opened outlook and imported the users outlook express settings. His
exchange mailbox size is 200718 and I change the limit size to the max of
2097151. When I open Outlook and do a send receive I get the Mailbox Cleanup
error. I am unable to talk to this attorney today and want to open and check
this new exchange setup. Is there another place i need to increase the
mailbox size? # other users are sending and receiving fine,
I did post this thread in Exchange and have not received a reply
Thanks

Hi Magnetoram:

Try this:

Setting mailbox limits over 2GB in Exchange 2003

Re: User exceeds mailbox limits

Thanks for the post. That worked. One more question, When I am in Outlook and
I want to send a new email and I pick tools address book it defaults to
global address list. Is there a way for me to default to the contacts list
that is at the bottom of the choices. When I pick it all the contacts appear?
When I imported the users info from Outlook Express it all came over but
opens to the wrong list.
Thanks

In Outlook, click on the Address Book link/button.
Then choose Tools | Options
Change "Show this address list first" to Contacts (presuming your Contacts
is actually pointing at the user's correct mailbox contacts folder)

Do *not* change "when sending mail, check names..." order. You want to leave
the GAL first, and then any other address books defined in the mailbox.

In the future, always export from OE to Outlook after you've created the OL
profile. It will retain timestamps on messages and generally work better.
