I am having some kind of issues if I am trying to make a systemstate backup on a SBS 2003 server. It will fail and then the following error message shows up:

Volume shadow copy creation: Attempt 1.
"MSDEWriter" has reported an error 0x800423f0. This is part of System State. The backup cannot continue.

The eventlog comes with this error:

The problem that you are facing can occur when the following conditions are true:

1. You back up data from a volume that contains a Microsoft SQL Server database.
2. The recovery model of the SQL Server database is configured to use an option that is different from Simple.
