| Outlook 2003 lost association with Exchange mailbox
One of my domain users has had his Outlook 2003 lose its association with his Exchange mailbox. Apparently he was prompted to create a new local personal mailbox. How do I re-establish the link to his Exchange mailbox? I want to keep his mailbox on the Exchange server as was originally set up by SBS 2003, rather than downloading to the newly created .pst file. Thanks in advance. -- Jim |

The easiest way to create the SBS 2K3 Outlook profile is to remove all the Outlook Profile, make sure Outlook is closed, and then locate to the client computer folder 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business Server\Clients' , double click sbsdefault.prf, this will automatically create the outlook profile with the correct settings (which also include the FAX Transport) for the corresponding domain user. -- I am jobless, who can hire me? That seems to have worked perfectly. Thank you so much. -- Jim "W.Z" wrote: > The easiest way to create the SBS 2K3 Outlook profile is to remove all the > Outlook Profile, make sure Outlook is closed, and then locate to the client > computer folder 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows Small Business > Server\Clients' , double click sbsdefault.prf, this will automatically create > the outlook profile with the correct settings (which also include the FAX > Transport) for the corresponding domain user. > |
