Critical Error: Attempt to release mutex not owned by caller

This is SBS 2003. Whenever I install Microsoft Hotfix, I get the following error messages:

SQLVDI

Somebody please help.

I appreciate your help friend but getting the same error message even after applying that Hotfix. And as per the second URL, my SP level is already newer than the version provided in that URL.

Let me provide some more info about the same. I usually get this error usually right after the SBS Backup runs. During installation, they had me upgrade the Sharepoint Database to the 2005 version for Full-Test searching. Though I successfully cleared the process, without any error message. Let me show you the event log for the same:
