ActiveSync won't sync externally 8501001

We are running SBS Premium, with ISA 2004, we have deloyed OWA successfully
no problems here.

Brief overview:
1) SBS 2003 Premium
2) Exchange 2003 SP2
3) ISA 2004 SP2
4) Thawte Certifcate it is valid and does work.
5) Local FQDN sbsrv.domain.local
6) ISA Rule includes all the required paths including /OMA/*;/Exchange/*;
/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync/*
Internally I plug my IMATE to my notebook and syncronize to the external
name on my published mail server mail.domain.com.cy

When I connect via GPRS I get the error code 85010001, any ideas?

Is this a Windows Mobile 5 device
Have you copied the cert to the mobile device?

Re: ActiveSync won't sync externally 8501001

Hi, Yes it is a windows mobile 5 device, no i didn't copy the certificate,
because we are using a public certificate.

I have the similar configuration in another domain, except they don't have
SBS. Seprate exchange, isa and DC.

Also, when using the Add Server Source, through activcesync on my home PC, i
get the error message that it cannot find the exchange server.

If i use an internal certificate, then the error message change, stating
that there is an error with the certificate.
