| XP Home Edition Internet Access Only
Hi All, I am running an SBS 2003 Network. Everything works fine. I want to set up an XP home edition computer to access the internet only. It would be used by my kids for homework and such when they are at the office. I don't need or want to buy a 5 pack CAL, and I don't want to upgrade the machine to XP Pro in any case. The machine would have no need to access domain files, or share any other domain resources. General config: SBS 2003 Premium with ISA Server 2004 running, all available CALs are in use, T-1 static ip internet connection, 1 switch, 1 wireless router (dhcp diabled). Do I have any options here? Thank you for your time, -Charlie |

Don't connect it internally to the SBS. Use the wireless router either wirelessly or wired (most have 4 ports). Worked like a charm. I never thought it would be that easy. "entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem" "Steve" wrote: > Don't connect it internally to the SBS.
