remote web workplace - local policy - can't logon interactively

I got a client who is using Windows XP Media Edition to try and do remote web workplace to his work computer running XP pro. VPN is up and running, and we are getting the RWW page to select his computer when we get the PC logon screen, but we get the error saying that "The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively". The remote assitance and remote desktop are checked on the computer properties. The user is added to mobile users, remote desktop, remote web workplace users groups on SBS 2003. The user is configured as a power users, not administrator. Is there anyone who can tell me what I have to look at to get this guy up and running? Thanks.

You can go under System Properties that is near the check box to "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer" and then there is an option butting to "Select Remote Users". By the way is your users domain account explicitly listed as permitted to connect remotely? Since your user is in the local Power Users Group, and not in the Admin group, it will have to be explicitly listed with permissions in order to connect via Remote Desktop.

You may also have to check the users account properties, under the Terminal Services Profile tab to make sure there is no checkbox in the field that will "Deny this user permissions to log on to any Terminal Server". Hope this helps.
