    Push Email not working

    Hey guys I have SBS 2003 server running with MS Exchange SP2. Also using an Orange SPV3100 smartphone and trying to configure push email but not getting it done. I’ve installed Self-Certified Certificate, confirmed that the firewall passes https properly to the mail server.

    I also ran a test to exchange active sync using https://servername/Microsoft-Server-Activesync but received an Error 501/505 "Not Implemented.” When I try to run Active Sync from my Orange Smartphone, it says “ActiveSync
    encountered a problem on the server. Support code 0x85010014.”

    Hope someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance.

    As far as I know ‘support code 85010014’ indicates error HTTP 500. You should try running CEICW. It will help to recreate
    the self issued certificate. You can check more info about this in the following KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/825763/en-us. Once done, follow these steps to verify Authentication settings:

    • Open IIS Manager
    • Open properties of virtual directory Exchange-oma
    • Select Directory Security tab
    • Select Edit in Authentication and access control box. Make sure the authentication setting as below:

    Authentication Methods
    Enabled Basic authentication
    Enabled Integrated Windows authentication
    Disabled anonymous access

    RE: Push Email not working

    Thank you very much for the help KEATON. I tried the steps you suggested and after that, this is the info of certificate, it seems to have the following OUs:
    CN = home.CompanyName.com
    CN = companyweb
    CN = server-01
    CN = localhost
    CN = server-01.CompanyName.local

    What now? Please help.

    Well I think you are facing OMA error, hence would like you to follow the steps provided in this Microsoft KB:

    “Currently your mailbox is stored on an older version of Exchange server" error message when you try to access Outlook Mobile Access: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=839288
