SQL Server Configuration Manager Snap-in error

Recently I upgraded my SBS 2003 R2 to Premium SQL Workgroup add-on. Since then Whenever I click "Services and Applications" under MMC, it gives me the following error message:

"SQL Server Configuration Manager. MMC has detected an error in a snap-in. It is recommended that you shut down
    and restart MMC.

Somebody suggested me to install Symantec Backup Exec 11d, well I did the same but still the same error. Can anyone please help me out of this? Many thanks in advance.

RE: SQL Server Configuration Manager Snap-in error

I have seen many users facing this problem with MMC 3.0, if you select 3rd option Continue running and always ignore errors with this snap-in regardless of user or session. By doing so hopefully you should not see the prompt again. If still you see the prompt then simply download the MPSRPT_SETUPPerf.EXE from below URL and run on server. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

This will help you to gather some information from the problematic computer.
