| Joining 2003 server as domain controller
Hello, I have a SBS 2003 that I would like to join a new 2003 server as a secondary domain controller. Is this possible? The SBS is running Exchange and is the PDC. Thank you!! |

Hi Klausman, Yes, it's possible. Create a computer account in Standard Management | Server Computers, then connect the new server to the network and run http://<sbs_servername>/connectcomputer. Once it's joined, you can use the Server Configuration applet on the new server to add roles, such as DC. You can download a whitepaper here for more detailed information.
