DCOM got error "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password."

Hi,

I have SBS 2000 w/ Exchange 2000, SQLServer 2000. All latest service
packs.

On approx 4 times a minute I get the following error in the System
Event Log

Event Type: Error
Event Source: DCOM
Event Category: None
Event ID: 10004
Date: 22/09/2006
Time: 11:15:46 AM
User: N/A
Computer: SERVER

Description:
DCOM got error "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. " and
was unable to logon DOMAIN\Administrator in order to run the server:
{888FC943-CB7D-43E7-BB64-905342B0D34D}

I have changed the Administrator password, which is clearly the
problem. But there is no match for the GUID in the registry.

Any suggestions welcome!

It looks like that GUID is for MailBasketMD program. This program runs as
an activeX DLL with a COM+ application.

Perfect! I had to open Component Services in Admin Tools and
configure the new password for MailBasket.

Thank you Michelle.

Regards,

Seth.
