Recently we setup a new server with which we are facing some problems with mail. It currently pull all mail down from their ISP BT Internet and incoming is working fine. But when I configure it to send all mail via smtp it gives me the following error message:
As far as I know I think the cause behind this would be password authentication for outgoing which they require but it could also be the fact that the return address comanyname.co.uk is not same as btinternet.com. Am I right? If yes, I wanted to know whether there is any way I can use the smtp connector with password authentication ?Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.
