| Cannot print to any printer with sbs 2003 server
Since the crash, I have not been able to print to any network printer. I deleted and tried to re-install the printer but the server didn't see the printer on the network. I can ping it and an IP scanner tool sees the printer IP, but the server can't. Any suggestions? Thanks |

Here is what I would do if I were at your place. I would have completely removed the printer, removed all the related drivers, and softwares of the printer from the server. Reinstall all of them back properly with the most updated drivers. You should make sure that the server printer is configured either with a fixed ip or a DHCP reservation. Give a test print and see how it works. In case if its still not working out then its either the printer or some software in your server which is to be blamed for this. |
