This is SBS 2008 server connected with 5 client workstations. Since last couple of days I’m getting low space error on the same. The total space of the server is 60GB where it consists 4 large files which are WSUS 4GB, WINSXS 10.9GB, SYSMSI 7.7GB and monitorservicelogs 1.5GB. Now as there is just 4.6GB left free out of 60GB I need to free up some space hence I wanted to know can I delete some files or folders from the above mentioned four large files?

If yes, which one is safe to delete? Many thanks.

Well I think Microsoft has pretty useful knowledgebase articles which can help you better in this case. Just checkout the following:

    Hello ChehZaad,

Are you using Trend Micro Antivirus program? If yes, you should run a cleanup wizard to delete old files. I could swear there is a right click somewhere to limit the size of the logs for WSUS. This is the best option to free up some space.

I think there is built-in option in SBS console itself to move WSUS to another Drive. You can turn it off by disabling the services, but before you do that you can also find the cleanup wizard in WSUS Console itself. Also remember that Group Policy must be disabled for updates during this process.
