| "The terminal server has exceeded the maximum number of allowableconnections"
Getting the above message on my SBS2003 server when two users are logged on a a third is trying to logon with RWW. How can I check that my licenses are in place(should have 5) and why this error keeps coming up thanks Rick |

The SBS server is only authorized for two users (well, maybe three if you use the console). RWW is intended for users to connect to either their own workstations or a Terminal Server to run programs. SBS only allows two users, and then only for administrative tasks, not to run shared programs. -- Larry Please post the resolution to your issue so that others may benefit. If you have a Terminal Services box you will need to provide more info about it & your TS licensing. |

Just in case you need a third opinion the other two are correct Sorry Rick The SBS2003 is not ever to be used as a Terminal Server. and should NEVER be used as a workstation. The 5 licenses that come with SBS2003 are to access the Domain that SBS Controls. File Sharing, SharePoint, Exchange etc. and NOT to access the server in a PC roll. (EVER!) I hope that someone Didn't SELL you this as a use for a Terminal server.
