KB961143 SBS update

Hello, this is SBS 2003 R2 fully patched and installed with all latest Windows Updates. Since yesterday I’m trying to install KB961143 update but every time it gets failed with 0x8007F0F4 error code. I tried searching Microsoft and Google for some help regarding this but dint found anything.

As the error is generated while installing KB961143, I think you should post the log generated for the same C:\Windows. You will find this log named as ‘KB961143.log’ under C:\Windows. If it is not there then just open WindowsUpdate.log instead under C:\Windows, scroll down to the bottom of the log and use 961143 as key word to search from down to up. Then paste the error messages related to installing KB961143 update. Meanwhile, I’ll suggest you to check the following KBs for more help on this problem:

I am having the same problem myself...might someone be able to help? Update on SBS 2003 SP2 fails. It is update KB961143 as well. I used to have Shairpoint shut off, but re-ran the service to try to get this to install. Still no luck. In the event viewer, I am failing with error code: 0x8007f070. I will paste my log into a message if you like.

I'm having the same issue, but my log doesn't look anything like the one in the thread. Can you review and help. This may also be part of why my OWA isn't work since it has to do with exchange.

I've attached my log file.

Any help would be helpful!
