Auto Map Network Drives under SBS 2008

Until last month I was using SBS 2003 with which I was able to easily map certain network drives according to users need with the help of login batch file. Due to some problem I required to upgrade SBS to 2008. Though there was no problem during the upgrade process it is not allowing me to map the driver with the same login batch file. It appears to be incompatible.

Is there any way to restore that functionality in SBS 2008?

Iím not sure how can we restore that functionality with that batch file but there is an alternate way using which you can do the same. Just checkout the following links:

Group Policy Preferences in a Windows 2003 Domain (and a Windows 2008 Domain)

I'll recommend you to better use Group policy preferences instead.
