Error 0x8004230f: The shadow copy provider had an unexpected error while trying to process the specified operation

Hello

I'm after a little help with the error in the subject. I have a new
server HP Proliant ML310 G5 X3065 SBS R2 PREMIUM, i have a HP DAT 160
INT USB TAPE DRIVE installed.

The server has been in production for 1 week, i didn't notice the
problem until it was in product and i went to show of the shadow copy
function. I wish i tested it before it went in production. Now i'm a
little worried i'll have to do a reinstall.

The install was a straight install from the disks supplied with the HP
server. No cloning and no Acronis installed.
There is a bit of HP management software installed.

The server is SBS 2003 R2 Premium, i did have SQL 2005 installed but
i've uninstalled it trying to fix the problem.

Now i have gone through heaps and heaps of post trying to fix this
problem. An example of everything i have tried is below.

i'm at a lose and am hoping someone might have some fresh ideas i
could try.

I'm not sure when the problem started or if it was there from the get
go after the install.

Any help will be greatly appropriated
