I have got a new HP ProLiant ML310 G5 Server and I have a HP DAT 160 INT USB TAPE DRIVE installed as well. The server has been in production for 1 week and I havent notice the issue until it was in product and I went to show of the shadow copy function. I wanted to test it before it went into production. Now, I think that I will have to do a reinstall. So, the install was a straight install from the disks supplied with the HP server. There was some kind of HP management software installed though. The server is SBS 2003 R2 Premium, i did have SQL 2005 installed but I have uninstalled it trying to fix the problem. Now i have gone through heaps and heaps of post trying to fix this problem. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1 Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.

2 Type the following commands at a command prompt. Press ENTER after you type each command.
cd /d %windir%\system32
Net stop vss
Net stop swprv
regsvr32 ole32.dll
regsvr32 oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 vss_ps.dll
vssvc /register
regsvr32 /i swprv.dll
regsvr32 /i eventcls.dll
