Manually Remove WSUS 3

I was having the WSUS 3 beta installed on my computer from long time. So, I am now looking to upgrade to WSUS RC and check that out. But this WSUS 3 RC cannot remove the previous installation of WSUS 3 beta and on the setup screen I am getting an error that says "Could not remove the network location \UpdateServicesPackages". Is there anyone who can tell me how to remove WSUS manually? Thanks.

Even I am running WSUS 3 beta on my computer and I went into add/remove programs and removed everything but the downloaded files. After that, I installed the RC1 of WSUS and it installed fine. I think that there has something to do with the SQL migration, but it did that all by itself.

Yes, that is correct, you should uninstall WSUS 3 beta and then try to perform a fresh installation of WSUS 3 RC. Did you try going into the ADD/Remove Programs?

Yes, I did use the add/remove programs to remove it but again got the same error message that Windows could not remove the program and its going to remove it from the list. I also did select yes for that but now it ended up not listed in the add/remove programs and at the same time registered in the registry as well.
