WSUS Clients don't show in console

Hi.

I am new to WSUS and installed one WSUS server and configured almost 70 WSUS
Clients.
Most of them are Windows 2000 or 2003 and some are XP.

There are few clients in all Windows versions that don't appear in console.
I have already reviewd all configurations, tried to force with wuauclt.exe
/detectnow and had no success.

How can I diagnostic them?

FM

Configured by GPO in Active Directory?

W2K with SP4 and UR1V2 and XP with SP2?

Have a look in %windir%\windowsUpdate.log for errormessages.

Re: WSUS Clients don't show in console

No, they were all configured with group policy editor locally.
I'll check for the service packs, if not actual, I'll update them.
What is UR1V2?

Thankyou for helping!

You don't have a Windows Domain?

UpdateRollup 1 Version 2.

Pls: Have a look in %windir%\windowsUpdate.log for errormessages at a
client who don't appear in wsus.

Re: WSUS Clients don't show in console

Yes, we have, but just few servers are on domain.

How can I check about UR1V2?

I checked log on one 2003 server. There was old logs, so I stopped the
Windows Update Service, renamed the file windowsupdate.log.old, start the
service, wuauclt.exe /detectnow and the log is new on windowsupdate.log.
There's no errors and it appeared on console, but another server that was
shown on console doesn't appear anymore.

My console shows 50 servers. Is there any limit?

Why not all clients and Servers?

Is this installed on Windows 2000SP4?

Are the Server cloned? If yes, try this on each Server:

Yes, they were cloned.
msmvps.com is timing out (504). :(

I'll check other servers.

Re: WSUS Clients don't show in console

Thankyou!
I have 3 cloned servers. I did that on all, but one persists not appearing
on console.
So, I did: stopped the Automatic Updates service to rename the
windowsupdate.log
Restart the server, checked the service if it was running and entered the
command wuauclt.exe /detectnow. There's the windowsupdate.log after 3
minutes. The
What can be happening now?

1 Win2003 Std x64 SP1
1 Win2003 Enterprise SP2
1 Win2003 Std SP2 - this one is the one we are discussing in the sub thread
of this topic.

I am checking the pre requisites, just tell me if WSUS supports Win 2003 x64
Edition and Win 2003 Enterprise.

Thankyou in advance.
