How to delete downloaded update files

I have WSUS 3.0 SP1 and some clients configured with Policy. I want to know if a client downloads an approved update but not install it and mean while i set the updates to "not approved then will the update file get deleted??? What's the actual difference between "not approved" and decline an update. Can anyone clear these doubts?? Help regrading this will be highly appreciated.

No the files wont get deleted if you set the updates to "not approved. The WUA will unscheduled the update but the files will reside in ~\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder. There is vast difference between "Not approved" and "Decline an update".
"Not approved" - If you set any update to "Not approved" then the update will be reported as "Needed" to the client until it gets approved
"Decline an update" - If you set any update to "Decline an update" then It will be invisible to the client.
    Hope that end your doubts.
