WSUS 3.0: MMC Could Not Create Snap-In

Whenever i try to load WSUS MMC snap-in, i get below error message:

"MMC could not create the snap-in. The snap-in might not have been installed correctly.

Name: Update Services

CLSID: FX: {8b6499ed-0241-e032-6508-da4b1c879d7e}"

I don't have much idea about this error and i want to know if there is anything i can try to fix this error.

This is what i had done to fix the same error in my case.

First close the MMC
Go into C:\Documents & Settings\my profile\application data\MMC and delete the WSUS file.
Now recreate Update Views and reopen the admin console, you should not get the same Snap-In error again.

If that doesn't make any difference in your case then you can revert back to me for further help.
