Cross-posting to microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services. | Re: EULA Failed to download
I have since found that setting NTFS permissions on the content and database location corrected this problem for me. For example, I had the content and database installed at G:\WSUS\* I set NETWORK SERVICE with full access and Domain Users with Read access. However, I had to do this at the root (G:), since doing it just on the WSUS folder didnt' work. I guess it connects to the roota nd then traverses down or something. Either way, it is now working and once it has fully sync'd and downloaded all the updates I'll have a further play with the NTFS permissions and see if I can't work out the minimum requirements. Hope this helps. Thanks, |

| Re: EULA Failed to download Setting the permissions worked perfectly, Im a bit concerned about root access to Domain users, so if we can determine exact permissions that would be ideal. Thanks for your help. Mark |

I have tried this and made sure the permissions applied to all files, folders, and sub-folders, but I am still experiencing the issue. Any ideas? |

set the status to DETECT then when this is accepted restart the download and when the EULA popup comes on the screen accept it. when the download has completed you can change status to approved. |
