If for the server you want to check, then look at C:\Program Files\Update Services\Logfiles and then the Application Event Log. If for the client you want to check then look in C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log or C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\ReportingEvents.log and the Application Event Log. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the answers. When I checked in the C:\Program Files\Update Services\Logfiles\change file, there is some considerable number of logs and it seems that it is not mentioning the IP address of any of the computers it updates. So, do you know that I can find the logs in the database WID that it uses? In the application event logs, there are few events like 13051/13052 etc. So, does anyone know whether there is documentation anywhere that lists down all the event ids associated with WSUS. Thanks.
The basic documentation on the Health Monitoring service is found in the "Managing WSUS 3.0 SP1 from the Command Line" section of the Operations Guide at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...38(WS.10).aspx and the "Health Monitoring in WSUS 3.0 SP2" section of the Operations Guide at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...53(WS.10).aspx.
