| Can't see any computers in WSUS console
I'm new to this WSUS stuff. Just installed WSUS 3.1 on Server 2003 and setup and linked Group Policy specifically for WSUS to a specific OU in which I dropped some XP workstations. I rebooted those workstations following all this. Yet, none of them show up under Computers inside the WSUS console, even when I search specifically for the computer name or sort by a status of "Any". From the XP computers I can successfully telnet to port 80 on the WSUS server, WSUS is using the default IIS web site. I even enabled client-side targeting and ensured the name of the Computer group in the WSUS console matched the name of the OU (though I do not think this matters). |

Try the Client Diagnostics Tool: <http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/wsus/bb466192.aspx> http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/wsus/bb466192.aspx Post the results here if you need further assistance. |

Wow. That Client Diagnostics Tool told me the Automatic Updates service wasn't running. I started, rebooted the computer, and voila! The computers were there! Thx!!!!!!!!!!! |
