WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service

Just to monitor the Windows Server updates status I am using WSUS. But recently, I have got some servers that is being updated without me approving any of the updates that were detected by WSUS server. When checked in event viewer then there was something with WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Service. I think that it is detecting a transparent proxy on the network that I am using and doing the automatic updates. Can anyone tell me how to get to know from which proxy server it is getting updated? I am using Novell for all my proxy servers and they also need web authentication. Thanks for any information.

Can you read from c:\windows\WindowsUpdate.log and check the same?

Thank you for the reply, I have already read it and it will not tell me what proxy server are being used to download the update, any other suggestion?

There is a function called FindProxyForURL( url, host ); that computes a list of one or more proxy servers that can be used by the HTTP client in order to transmit the request. If the PAC script determines that the HTTP client can reach the target server directly without going through a proxy server at all, it indicates this using a special return value.
