    I can't help out, I am afraid - The fact that it is asking for a driver means that the PC can't locate the right Class Compliant driver - This means missing files on your PC I would think.

    Kingston are good - I use a Kingston Pen Drive on a daily basis and haven't had any problems with it.
    Transfer speed should be the same as any USB 2.0 device.
