My case is identical to HTC in HK. I shall add that my phone is a My Touch Slide 3G from T-Mobile...don't know if that has anything to do with the issue.
It is not a matter of defective USB...

Well people, my USB cable is original and it allows me to see the HTC phone files on the computer but the fact of the matter is that I still have the same problem no sync can be completed...:angry:
