When I check the validation log in program files it says that one file failed to validate:
"Validation failure: c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\BlackOpsMP.exe"...
I also have exactly the same problem - have had the game for 2 weeks now and I still can't play online. I've tried pretty much everything.
Every time I try and connect to a server (with good ping)...
