I have the exact same issue. I can ping from the client pc to the SBS 2008 server's static IP address, however not the domain name.

Removing the 2nd DNS stopped my client PC accessing the internet so I had to re-enter 8.8.8.8 to get the...

I have the same problem and the client pc has the dns pointed directly to the server's IP address.
All the configuration seems correct, so I'm not sure?
