HUTCH already started in that way...Now Airtel also started in Coimbatore,chennai...soon all over india..

If u want purely entertainment then definetly 6230 is worthy buy...
If u want Symbian OS(PDA func and Browsing using Opera) than 6600..But keep in mind Very Slow OS..

Iam sorry to say, that if u getting the error..Unable to connect to network..means Your service provider doesnot activated GPRS on your account..

According to thier website(bpl)...

not necessarily..i have used for browsing airtel masala site..before i have subscribed for advanced GPRS..
actually airtel masala site is a wap site given thru wap over gprs...not a advanced gprs...

ask thier customer care, they will do the activation..u will need to download the settings for the same..
Also sure to check whether they offering GPRS for prepaid services...

try the APN as bplgprs.com
remove ipaddres, username and password....also leave dsn names blank...
i thing ur old apn name was for MMS...

No need to put Masala settings seperately for that..Just put the site name in IE

Yes, Advance GPRS means, u can use your mobile as modem in your pc and browse all other normal sites..Even in your MPX 200 also u can browse all normal sites(Except frames based sites)

if u use username and pw for browsing in Phone > then use the same in Dialup networking otherwise keep blank..

ie 10.10.1.100:9401 or 10.10.1.100:9201
and Access Point as 'portalnmms' without quote

No need to put any port address.. I any mobile just putting APN is enough i think..

I belongs airtel network, Tamilnadu and motorola doesnot support OTA settings...
The custmer care in Airtel doesnot helps me....
