    CPU Fans List

Heres a complete guide for selection of the fans for your System's cases.

    Presentation of these fan

The latest fan of Enermax have rotor called "Twister Bearing" which would extend their lifespan to 1,00,000 hours over the fan itself is removable cache...The blades are peculiar with a reworked design intended to improve the airflow.Everest has a strengthened framework on a strip of aluminum and nipple fixation silicone. The model 120 mm runs between 500 and 1 000 rpm for a noise between 8 and 12 dB (A) and a flow of air from 26 to 46 CFM. The Magma is a little faster with a speed of 1 500 rpm, a stream of 69 CFM and a noise of 18 dB (A). Everest The model is broken down into version 80, 92 and 120 mm while the Magma is happy version 80 and 120 mm. The first three are respectively sold 9, 12 and 16 euros against 11 and 19 euros for two models Magma.

    The Magma:

    The Everest:

    Other models:-

    The GlacialTech SilentBlade GT12025-BDLA1

    This fan is usually cheap.

This fan is sold to OEM without bundle, without hardware
We therefore 7 turning pale 950trs Noise is given to 18dB to 35.8 CFM or 61.2 m3 / h. During a test, it really turns around 930-940rpm, noise east of 32.8 dB. The design of the pale when it is quite aggressive:

The MTBF (Medium time Before Failure) is 50 000 hours. Weight is 143.5 g anyway.

The Cooler Master LED Silent Fan (TLF-S12-ER-GP)

Going by Surcouf Dausmenil example, it is common to find this model sold for a relatively paltry sum.

For a fan sold the box format, content remains standard with 4 screws to install the fan in your cabinet, plus 2 cables allowing one or to connect it to feeding your pc either on the motherboard allowing then to reduce its speed is so automatic (PWM, Q-Fan) or manually with a rheobus:

It noted the strong resemblance the Antec Tricool except that the latter can climb to 2000trs against 1200trs for Coolermaster ...

    Design pale:

One would have expected better. Indeed no optimization is achieved suggesting that the Coolermaster is a work unfinished.

    A small button tuning:

Those fleeing the fan to flee the leds like the plague.
Attention, cable fan is only 30cm long. If you add the molex, you add, however, 15cm long.

    Noctua S12

Mounted as a fan of cabinet, it has the great advantage of as much as a blow 1500trs standard yet it is running at only 1200trs. by cons when it is mounted on a rad its effectiveness is very low.

The bundle with the famous adapter LNA / ULNA:

    The S12:

    Design pale:

With such a design, noise is much reduced by 10%

    Noctua P12

A different approach has been interviewed by Noctua satisfy users wishing bad performance and have been disappointed with the performance of the S12, they found that the S12 was not at all its place as a fan on the radiator. Here we have the right to a good change with 9 pale teeth, a sign of a fan of quality is theoretically supposed to provide airflow even higher than his brother, the S12.

As always, the Noctua bundle is treated with particular rubber tubes to sharply reduced vibration:

    Design pale:

As usual technology Bearing SSO can be estimated with a MTBF 1,50,000 hours

The Minebea Scythe Silent IC (4710KL-04W)

3 models provide us with the speed of rotation in 1100, 1600 and 1900trs.

    The 1100trs version:

    The 1600trs version:

    The 1900trs version:

Their MTBF, estimated at 1,80,000 hours, is harsh than that of Noctua!

The bundle of these fan are more classical:

Here, no frills: the fan did not leds, pale transparent and the work is done there. These fan offer to effect a finish at the famous Papst:

    Design pale:

This design does not provide an optimization of airflow but still allows a reduction of noise pollution because of their slightly rounded angles.

    Ultra Kaze

Available in versions 1000, 2000 and 3000trs, this is a very low fan life since an estimated 30 000 hours as the Zalman. They present a against the advantage of offering a thickness of 38mm to 25mm against the fan standard format that is synonymous with increased airflow.

    The bundle:

It is noteworthy that the weight of the fan is of 225g

A huge rotor is now reducing the same time the length of pale ...

    Design pale:

Such a design would leave nothing presaged good in terms of noise, however, the profile of the fan is clearly the performance more than silence.

For models 2000 and 3000trs, noise generated is respectively 32.9 and 45.9 dB. If you buy one of these versions 2, I urge you to plug into a rhéobus, noise generated funds are simply more unbearable.

This fan is supposed shot between 800 and 2400trs. It comes with a rheobus placed in a bay 5.25.

It should be noted feature of a small bundle since grid is present. Useless or not, everyone will find his account:

    Design pale:

The fan is equipped with 9 pale design recalling the SilentX

The fan is made not by Silverstone but by Everflow. The airflow is 36, 68 cfm to 800trs and 2400trs to 110.03. The Silverstone can be defined as an alternative to the Antec Tricool it can be varied at will his speed but that there is much work that Tricool because of its design pale that offers a throughput higher speed equal to other fan market.

    However, note that-
A 1150trs it is impossible to discern the slightest noise.
A 1400trs, engine noise is discernible.
A 1600trs and beyond, the fan deviet quite audible even noisy. Some people will find it even unbearable. Be aware, however, that the differences Tricool its whistle already 1600trs, Silverstone would never whistle because certainly the quality of its rotor.

Last advantage, its manufacturing allows it to be easily mounted on a radiator type Thermalright / Noctua:

Its lifespan is estimated at 50 000 hours

Unlike the other reference model, we are entitled to vitessses a little higher, ranging from 800 to 2600trs. As the other model, a rheobus is provided.

    Design pale:

The optimum speed was found to 1400trs, the report noise / perf at this time is optimal. The manufacturer of this fan is Power Logic... The length of cable is 50cm.

    Zalman ZM-F3 LED

Who does not know the brand Zalman mark made famous for the quality of these ventirads. Here, we will attach the fan provided with ventirads. The question is whether the fan came with the famous CNPS are quality? When you take for example the 9700led/NT what do you have? A high-end fan or a pitch bouze?

Here very good positive point: the presence of a bundle similar to Noctua 4 skates with silicone to absorb more vibration adapter operating in the same way that the system LNA / ULNA Noctua:

Another point: the point feather fan is only 71 g

The zalman recalls the famous Tricool ...

    Design pale:

The speed of rotation of 1800trs max east, the air flow is at this speed of 73.17 cfm. One might have expected still better... The noise is generated by 32dB.

If you are allergic to fan led to know that there is the same version but without led stamped Zalman ZM-F3.

    Scythe 120mm Slip Stream

    The bundle:

    Design pale:

The flow is expected to be higher than 10% compared to other fans.

Ok, I am curious to see magma into action, especially at the level of noise. Their concept of "Batwing" is interesting but I suspect that the breaks will generate disturbances which will come into resonance because they are positioned exactly the same spot on each wing.

The Ultra Kaze @ 1000 air is really not bad at all as CPU fan. A 2000 regulated via Speedfan seems ideal.

The design of Silverstone FM123, again, is promising. It can appear disappointing but it happens when the same level of a fan blades to 9. If the rotor could be a bit smaller like SlipStream, this fan would be a bomb.

Good topic and a good job!
As far as the test is concerned, Slipstream is more efficient than the Noctua P12?
