    Gaming Controller DualShock 3

Guys heres a review for the newly outed DualShock 3 from Sony. This is a version intended for use with PS3 Console and has the included features of rumble and Sixaxis. So all the people who have felt odd with no rumble in your favorite games now at a cost of $54.99 you can actually rumble.

    Introduction
The DualShock 3 is the direct successor to the Sixaxis Controller for the PS3.The original PS3 controller shaped like a boomerang never made it of the drawing boards.Which was later converted into the same controller like that used on the PS2(DualShock 2) but was stripped of its rumble feature as a result of a dispute with the original creators of rumble technology Immersion Tech. The Sixaxis also had stolen technology which resembled motion sensing on the Wii.At first Sony was confident that rumble was a thing of the last generation consoles. The DualShock 3 came into light after the dispute with Immersion had been settled with Sony gaining rights to use rumble in all of its new controllers.

    Launch And Pricing
The DS3 was announced at the 2007 Tokyo Game Show and was released in Japan on November 11,2007.The rest of the world was not so hopeful as it only launched in the US on April 15th,2008.Although major retailers received stock as early as the 1st week of April. So i purchased mine through KMD as soon as it was available on Amazon

Price: It is priced at premium of 54.99 USD and JP Yen 5,500,As of now Amazon..com price is 49.97$

    Conclusion
The DS3 is a worthy buy incase you need rumble and performs decently in most games.I have tested it in Warhawk and Burnout Paradise,The rumble is good and feels good to have some sensation while driving around in Paradise City. Also i have tested it out in FIFA Street 3 Demo dled from PS3 Store and the rumble works great and you can feel getting tackled by the players. So all of you who have $54.99 to spare and need a new controller buy it.Also the newer 80Gb MGS4 bundle SKU to be launched on 10th june 2008 will have a DS3 bundled along with the console.

    Score- 4.5/5

With the launch of the DS3 and the discontinuation of the Sixaxis the price of the Sixaxis has fallen to USD 39.99 from 49.99$
