Ritesh if u r comparing SE k700i to Nokia smart fones or for that matter ne other smart fone then it's simply useless cuz there's no comparison.

guys what about the 7610? is that better than k700i? its also got 4x zoom, 64mb , etc. how is the image quality on it? also, can the memory on the se be upgraded?

@ritesh: Well ignorance is better than nothing.
@Photon: Ofcourse the 7610 is way better than the se k700i. No the memory on k700i isnt expandable afaik. that 4x zoom can well be extended to 16x with symbian apps. The expandable memory isnt limited to 64Mb, it can be extended upto 512Mb. Dunno if bigger mmcs were tested with it. Image quality is awesome on it 1.3 megapix cam on 7610 as compared to the 0.3 megapix cam of the k700i.

hey guys, I have a Nokia 3660. I'm quite happy with it. Image quality is decent. Newer phones are coming out with cams of 3.2 megapixel. an exapmle is a phone from casio i think. have to check it out. the 6610i from Nokia offers a 1.3 Megapixel cam.

i think if ppl r comparing 7610 with k700 then .....i believe Sony has won the battle....cause k700 is in competence with 6230....and better hve a look at S700 .....cause s700 is in competence with 7610...and beleive me....S700 is miles ahead of NOKIA...!!

reviews tell that screen of s700 is so amazing that u cant make out any pixels in it....its actually cryatal clear...and 7610 has 1megapixel cam not 1.3....s700 has 1.3 mega pixel cam...!!

dude...check the facts before u post.....do u even know that the s700 has 292k display screen...whereas the 7610 has only 65k screen.....

how the hell did u even wanna compare the 2 screens....

Dude comparing a part of life. U compare processors, devices so whats wrong here ? I never compared the k700i to the 7610 cuz it is no comaprison at all. U can compare the smart fones frm SE to the smart fones frm Nokia. That wud be fair. But s700 and k700i comon these are no comparison to the symbian fones. And "s700 is miles ahead of Nokia" no what exactly do u mean by that. The k700i has not done good sales abroad, in india i have no idea. Btw i thought the SE p910 was it's flagship product, so whats this crap hype abt s700 and all. FYI the 6630 also has a 1.3Mp cam.

@blade....i believe some comparisons r being done above...!! and thats wat i pointed out.
@icefusion...dude read the post before replying.....if atall we compare between the two that is s700 and 7610 then i beleive everything is taken into account.

Comeon guys, STOP fighting and comparing.. All the phones that are mentioned here are hotties and IT will be a pleasure to use any of them...

BUT now that you guys have started IT...

T610: Timeless design way better than other phones... quite cost efeective too...also 8310 is very good..

this entire thread is like a joke !

Guys please get your facts right, and define the bottom line.

Smart phones from Nokia beat every phone in the market, if the other phones being reviewed are not smart phones, so unless the user is a power user, he will not like something like a 6600/3650/3660/Ngage/Ngage QD/7610. Smart phones though cheaper have each and every feature in the world, which is done with just by installing the software ( I am excluding SE P800 and P900/P910 when comparing)

About the T610 it is a sheer joke with 2 MB, T630 showed VGA cam, but hold does any1 know about the details? It is not a hardware feature but software feature, what I mean is that it takes image at a lower resoltion and interpolates it to a VGA resoluton, and the memory again bah !

So if you ask my opinion about k700/k700i I would say, nice phone but for those who are using phone for a basic communication device with a few addons and not for a power user ! A 40 MB memory and a MP3 player, reminds me of my samsung mp3 player I got 6 years back when 32 MB was a dream, but wait where do i have the space to store images ? Quick share is nothing but a marketing gimick.
