Design:

The dimension of Scanny 5 Scanner is 10.5” x 1.1” x 1.2”. It is a thin log scanner that fits well in hand. You can simply drag it as per your need to get the right glimpse. The scanning time taken by the scanner lies between 10 to 12 seconds. That means you have to drag the scanner with 10 seconds to get the complete image output. The scanning time is based on the dpi. It offers a maximum dpi of 900. So if you are scanning on Low Resolution that is on 300 dpi, then the scanner takes around 5 to 6 seconds. For medium are around 10 and maximum 10 to 12 seconds. Even on low dpi the scanner delivers a great output. There is no doubt on the scanner quality. There is a bit limitation with scanning page. That means as per the dimension only you can get the scanned output. There is no way to decrease or increase the same. The scan area is fixed. Once you choose the dpi, then the scanner remains on for few seconds and then it is turned off. So there is also no continuous scanning mode. Features:

Once charged the scanner can give you hours of output. It can be charged by connecting to the pc through usb cable. It works on lithium polymer battery that holds good amount of power, once charged completely. The scanner does not work without a memory card. There is on internal storage available. The handling is quiet easy here. There are some things that the scanner lacks. Like it does not gives you any indication when you are scanning. There is only a green led light which turns on and then turn off automatically after sometime. Something like blinking lights. Features point of view, Scanny 5 has everything for portable scanning work. It works great on any surface. But if you keep scanning documents over white surface then it will deliver a better output. You can scan under two modes here. You can scan in Color or in Mono depending on the resolution of your choice. The page size configured for scanning all type of documents is A4.
