Intel Classmate The New Learning Series PC

Computer has part of life today. You cannot stay away from this in any form. So if you are planning for a better career for your kid in future, so the first thing you try to find an institute which can guide your kid. But does that do all the work. Second giving your kid a costly gadget is mostly a risk for parents of wasting money. To deal with a similar Intel announced the New Learning Series systems. Notebooks under this are designed for kids at affordable cost. Intel's came out with a new idea to deal with learning platform for kids and all. Intel's New Learning Series PC will be designed and made on the base of robust quality. Running a bit out of track Intel plans to go for better system targeting the education niche instead of making its position in the Tablet sector. Intel has already announced Classmate PCs which will run on the latest Intel Atom CPU called as Cedar Trail. Surely this is something new for the students. With a concept of converting the entire paper learning procedure to digital the product can bring revolutionary changes. Remember that colleges and schools are the first to adopt technology.

Classmate PCs are equipped with robust quality and new improvements. This are not just regular PCs for home desk, they are portable netbook which are capable of providing your kids the best informative platform. Dealing with the current age, we must do not stay behind relying on traditional methods. Many education sector who specially deals with IT has changed the method of teaching by adoption digital technology. The best example I can give you is Virtual Classroom. A Classmate can be your handy notebook. Intel plans to make more robust by giving it qualities of shock resistance, water resistance, better keyboard keys, easier connectivity and ports. This means that you do not need to go for upgrades in future. Surely the system is not design for multimedia or gaming purpose, but for sharing and learning. The system was exhibited on CES 2012.

    Design:

With a 10.1"screen you get a notebook plus tablet. It is not just a regular pc. You convert it to a tablet and use the screen for writing. The experience yet found was good. With Intel's palm rejection technology the writing is much smoother. This new improvement will help the students to give better writing ability on the screen without any issue of worrying about the touch screen. The screen can properly distinguish between the writing strokes and wrist placed. This is somewhat smartly done here. At the learning stage it will not be easy for students of lower grade to get easily use to the PC. In comparison of original full fledged laptop this system looks like toy. It can be called as ultra portable. It has a plastic chassis which is hard enough to handle shocks. You can use leather cover over the top for better grip and it is very convenient to handle. Keyboard size is enough big for smooth typing. It looks interesting to see the laptop. In comparison to older series this one is better. There is a webcam also in this laptop which on the screen. Surely a better add-on for affordable system.

    Operating System:

The notebook is equipped with a Learning Series Software Suite. This suite has a combination of tools which can help students a lot at classroom. It is possible to customize the system as you want as per your classroom subject. Running on Windows 7 operating system the education experience on Classmate PC will be more and easier. There is no other information which states that the PC will have other operating system also.

    Conclusion

The good points of this series are that they are small and affordable. Its design is robust and has a better touch features. Good for learning and has better storage space also. Better than tablets as they lack supports to other operating system and are still under development stage. Another thing which I was assuming to have is more processing power. But does that really matter. A kid might not understand the processing power at a very low age and as he/she grows there are ample of high end models. As a student of 21st Centaury it is always necessary to gain some skill and be fast to reach the goals in competitive market. The more your kid stays behind the more time it will take to learn and adopt the new technology. Giving a kid a gadget which can help him to understand and learn the qualities like troubleshooting, creativity, etc will give a strong base. The handy tool will surely generate a expert in future. A basic and affordable model can be good new year gift for your kids.

This type of gadgets is far more effective for developing countries that are gazing speed in development but lacks behind because of expensive technology and implementation. This can help them to be at standard pace of development. In one words this is a low cost mini-notebook which has more features than a traditional notebook. The Classmate series is now equipped with better improvements for grown up kids also. The new version is better. The screen size is increased, it design is much better, better handling, etc.
