    Star Front Collision iPhone Game

Even if the question denies it, we now know that Gameloft has made a real specialty of copying all the blockbusters that come in range. So, after we have served a GTA clone with Gangster, a pseudo Call of Duty Modern Combat with a copy-paste with Halo NOVA. And the rehash of Diablo or Darksiders, now the company tackles mythical Starcraft RTS benchmark for many moons. However, if we would soon criticize this policy, we would hide at the same time the fact that producing a STR worthy of that name on a mobile is a big challenge, a challenge that the teams have responded with Gameloft very talented.

Star Front Collision is reminiscent of the famous Starcraft from Blizzard when it raises the eye first. The trailer for this new set of real-time strategy was unveiled on the Web. These first images have already been announced very promising. "Star Front Collision" promises a space odyssey action-packed, transporting us to the planet where is the sinistral Xenodium. The latter is a rare mineral that is the subject of attention in the game is coveted by three races: the Consortium (humans), Myriad (aliens) and Wardens (spam). The game Starfront: Collision gives you the opportunity to choose your side based on ability and peculiarities of each clan.

The scenario is similar to that of StarCraft, at least three races fight for raw materials. Gameloft promises an intuitive touch-screen controls. Who in the video will look closer, the user interface with EA's Command & Conquer find similarities. How intuitive operation then ultimately, is to be seen. 20 single player missions will provide the game and also a skirmish mode, where you can create your own battles. 24 different buildings and 30 unit types will appreciate the game. The gaming environment is provided in five versions: frozen wasteland, wasteland, jungle, underground reactor and destroyed an alien city. A multiplayer mode for up to four players online and allows the tactics on the local network. There are five multiplayer maps, each spring from one of the game environments.

The trial has not only a quick tutorial mode mission. Optical and play the game is at first glance, in my case in the iPhone 3G, a decent figure. The graphics are very detailed and is generally quite smooth. Only in cut scenes and in larger amounts of enemies, the image reproduction is evident in the knee. The game is controlled as it should be otherwise, complete with touch screen. In this case, but to say that the developers have implemented to control very well. Highlight and commands of the units and the menus work properly. Last, you can still say that the music sounds and small, including explosions, shootings and voice samples, fit well with the game.

    Features:
    • The strategy game system in real time fun for more sophisticated and balanced iPhone.
    • Has finally reached an RTS with intuitive controls let you control your forces at all times.
    • Define and perfect your strategy with three different sides: the Consortium, the Guardians and the Myriad. Everyone has their own tactics and hierarchies.

    Gameplot

Starfront: Collision is a RTS (Real Time Strategy, Real-Time Strategy), which follows a complex plot focused on the fight "intergalactic" for the control of a mineral called Xenodium. The story is very intricate and takes you to follow the struggle from the perspective of three different factions: the humans of the consortium, and the myriad robot Sentinels. During the Campaign mode, which tells the history, alternately follow the stories of these three groups, through a series of missions set on various planets. In the distant future, StarFront: Collision staged three races in a war for control of resources on the planet sinistral. Heavily influenced by S tar C raft (itself inspired by Warhammer 40K already) at all levels, as regulars will be lost in Blizzard S tar F inclusion. The three races are the Consortium (humans), the Myriad (an alien race indigenous to put on the number) and the Wardens, a race of intelligent robots with advanced technology. Each race has its own buildings and units (respectively 24 and 30 in all) but use the same resources: Xenodium crystals.

Welcome to planet Sinistral, where rare Xenodium crystals are coveted by a human mining conglomerate called the Consortium. However, they are not the only ones after the rare mineral. The Myriad, an indigenous race of aliens, is addicted to Xenodium and will do everything they can to prevent the Consortium from plundering their resources. To add to the chaos, a sentient robot race called the Wardens is trying to turn the war in their favor. Whose side will you choose?

Within minutes, you'll know to run the game without asking too many questions or getting tangled in multiple manipulations. Nothing prevents you more then you throw in a campaign consisting of 16 missions during which you will have the opportunity to command and confront the three factions. The tasks in question whenever you invite to perform classical objectives such as to survive until help arrives, destroy the enemy base or infiltrate enemy territory with a small response team, all on the cards right built and relatively diverse. Certainly, no cry no engineering, especially as all is revealed perhaps a little too easy, but Starfront: Collision does not clearly intended for an audience of hard-mouse. Indeed, Gameloft has never lost sight of the nature of her baby and was therefore at pains to make it accessible and malleable. One can also observe the presence of numerous checkpoints within each mission and the ability to save anywhere. We also liked the fact that the game will return immediately to where you left your party in the event of closure precipitated the application.

    Game Modes

To start playing Starfront under good conditions, you must first go through a tutorial which fortunately is very effective. You'll learn everything you need to get started in your first parts: construction of buildings and units, gathering resources (metal and energy), upgrade your equipment, travel, and battle plans. By crossing this short training, you quickly realize that the game is very accessible, and extremely playable for a mobile title. Certainly Starfront is not a model of depth, but all the ingredients are there to provide a comfortable experience and nervous. The camera moves are intuitive, use the mini map relatively accurate despite small size and the interface is quite efficient. It will then be able to form groups, to establish patrols (with a path finding quite correct) and put rallying points.

With Starfront: Collision, choose from 3 unique but balanced races and deploy your strategy for victory in this battle. Each faction can construct 8 different buildings and over 10 destructive units to build up their base and mount an unstoppable assault on adversaries. Once you’ve mastered the solo campaign, put your skills to the test in exciting multiplayer battles. You will have to complete 20 missions in Campaign mode of the game, in addition to a skirmish mode. This will allow you to create your own battles. You can also get into a fight with friends in multiplayer mode, thanks to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. "Star Front: Collision also offers the online service Gameloft Live 2.0.

The mission of the Campaign mode are 16, and quite different to each other, even though it follows the classical models for this type of game. There is a mission of survival, where it is in some way to stay alive until the arrival of reinforcements, more exploratory missions, where they patrol vast areas of the map looking for something, and where missions are assigned specific tasks "VAI, and fouls blacks "). The duration of the missions vary, but fortunately there are numerous checkpoints where the game is saved automatically, and you can always recover from this. Also you can save at any time: a good thing for a quick session. To ensure a remarkable longevity there are not only numerous achievements to unlock, but also the possibility of establishing various missions in several ways, deciding which path to take and whether or not complete all secondary objectives.

The other aspect of Starfront should now turn into the multiplayer of course. The game offers to policymakers because you are to face up to 3 congeners locally or online 7 card symmetrical quite interesting to play. The title makes it possible to engage in a duel, clashes in 2 cons 2 or even for-all matches. Like Starcraft, it is even possible to save videos from your games for later viewing. In short, you have probably already understood, Starfront: Collision is a title perfectly suited to its support. With content consequently, an embodiment of quality, an interface difficult to take in default and gameplay that it is not very deep, however, appears solid, the game has all the arguments to satisfy players who want to make war anywhere and anytime!
In addition to the campaign mode there is a Skirmish mode, where you can configure everything: you can choose from seven settings, decide the degree of difficulty, against which faction to join and which clash. Perfect for deepening the knowledge of the game without going efforts in campaign mode. There is also the game in Multiplayer, but for the moment is very weak: the servers are apparently still engulfed and after long delays, often of feeling announce Disconnecting.

Re: Star Front Collision iPhone Game

    RTS Game

The real-time strategy games are generally quite a niche that has been lucky almost exclusively on PC and not a chance. In this type of game that you will do is create and manage a large number of troops, build new buildings to produce resources and battalions, moving your troops across the map. In short, it is absolutely necessary to have control not only accurate but also fast ... because nothing is worse than losing a mission for a few lousy grips on their checks! The genre lends itself well to iPhone (and even better iPad!), with its instant-to-manage interface through a touch screen, but so far no one had ever succeeded in creating a truly effective system. To have a management game pretty accurate and precise to avoid becoming frustrating, it is essential to rely on the checks fast and absolutely flawless: Starfront and succeeds perfectly.

The test of RTS it is all here: the controls. A spectacular graphics and a storyline never save a game out of control, and if this is true a little 'for all kinds, it is especially for these games. Starfront implements a system that while not perfect is quite optimal: we can easily create groups of units, one-touch multi-touch, and it is also possible to store them. Unfortunately there are some shortcomings: undo the recordings created, for example, is not easy, and you can select the units by type (which would have been useful), but it is really to see the proverbial "hair", because even a Beginning players will have great difficulty in managing the game, at least with regard to this aspect. Also in this game is a tutorial that guides the first steps in a fast and accurate: the more advanced features but you learn little by little game, with the experience and thanks to some guidance here and there (which is not too intrusive).

    Customization

The basis of operation of each game are the same: to accumulate enough resources Xenodium and energy to start the construction of a large number of troops. These are very different in kind: by soldiers in armored vehicles of various terrestrial and celestial. Should also be enhanced to build a little at a time all its own buildings, doing research for new technologies to free other resources. Some troops are only available after the construction of specific buildings for research, while others need potential to get their production facilities. In short, the dynamics of management, although not too complex, it is very deep and allows a high degree of customization for each game.

    Compatibility

This game is only compatible with 3rd and 4th generations of iPod touch (16/32/64GB) devices along with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and iPad. Before downloading, please check the back of your device to make sure that it meets the system requirements. The game will be but some conditions for the hardware and have only on newer devices work similarly, so with the iPhone 3G up, and the iPod touch, the 3rd and 4th generation of the variants with 16GB memory up.

    Negative Aspect

One of the most significant disadvantages is not even in the game, but the platform on which it is presented a representative of RTS. The problem is that the strategy is still not even requiring a larger resolution and screen size. More diagonally. On the iPhone as separate units (especially the smallest and, at first glance, minor), similar to the accumulation of points, which only in certain angles can be regarded as a military (or just something useful) units. Management, on the basis of all of the same size, also not at the highest level. On the iPad, admit, the game would look much better. And yes, I hope that soon it will appear on the tablet.

    Free Download

Free version includes four levels of study, which is understandable, we need a full game or not. However, in most cases, I believe, is a masterful lured to work. The creators have tried their best. The first three levels explain the principles of the game, and the fourth is the first episode of the first part of the campaign. The remaining 19 levels just and will cost nearly seven dollars, and besides - 680 megabytes of traffic. But apart from a full-fledged single player will still quick play with AI, as well as the popular multiplayer.

    Conclusion

Starfront is a wonderful game: well done, extremely accurate in its entirety. Graphics and gameplay are at the highest levels and controls are really the new point of reference for every RTS on the iPhone. The only gripe is that for now is missing the version iPad: a pity, because the iPad would really be the ultimate platform for games of this type. In short, you ask: why so much hatred towards a game so well done is so carefully created.

The design of the 3 factions of course refers to the famous Starcraft, even if all seems far less inspired. Performance is undoubtedly Starfront knowledge remain playable, especially fluid and readable despite the large amount of information displayed on the screen. With Starfront, we are dealing with a title perfectly suited to its support: efficient, comfortable and nervous, the software lends itself to short sessions of play, however, note that it does not intend to tainted STR and s directs it more toward accessibility. Thus we will realize quickly that the three races, despite their very distinct look, operate globally in the same way.
