    Test Drive Unlimited 2 Review

After the first episode of famous Open Online racing game by Eden Games, its developers dared to release the second part. Ibiza who became substitute for Hawaii as a background for an adventure that will not only be much bigger but also significantly better. Oahu is the further island which takes us all the way through the game. Unfortunately, I was not enough lucky to fall tropical paradise, but you do not lose hope that the industry has a lucid moment and make a good event there. The game combines single player and multiplayer experiences flawlessly, generating a energetic world of evolving content and challenges. Gamers describe their online persona through unmatched customization of their avatars and vehicles, and the gaining of property, clothing and other accessories of a luxurious international existence. All-new race types, vehicle classes, environmental challenges, locations and much more drive this epic franchise to fresh levels of performance.

With these two islands (Mediterranean and one in the Pacific) that are leaders in the field of holidays and repeatedly linked with luxury, endless fun, and some things (some positive, some less so) are our play area, although since it was Ibiza that was firstly only accessible. No doubt that iconic design of the island, luxury cars, excess, and sometimes more kitsch than cool, are the most interesting features of this game. Now as we talk about the features, the game is packed with some more features like:
    • It is "always live" with automatic content updates and seamless online/offline integration. New content, challenges and features will integrate dynamically into the gameplay as the world evolves over time.
    • A whole new, out of car mode, where you can walk around shared spaces and interact with other players. New player run clubs are now a huge part of the game. New co-op play; follow the leader, keep your distance and enhance the experience within the social networking world.
    • Unlock a huge range of options and show off your custom avatar to friends and rivals. Customize your car with custom paint jobs, decals, interiors and trims. Customize every aspect of your avatar –– hair, clothes, physique and attitude. Buy your dream house or yacht, decorate, furnish and invite your friends.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 offers an open world racing game, a formula that has been established in other titles and that does not convince all the players, which means in certain respects. You make a lot on consistency and credibility in the world and history that are proposed, but the cohesion is weak, it is not the same look for a car from an extensive menu without any major difficulties, having to walk across the islands to go to a dealer, for instance practical and direct. If you do not like this system, the best you can do is remain out of the title because there is no choice in this field, but instead if you want you can rest assured as is well integrated and it makes sense and rewarding. On the other hand, it completely depends on your own tastes on the concept of gender so everyone must judge from his own experience.

Actually their world is so open that though there are significant scripting elements, the series is determined by a variety of aspects like exploration, the social component (like multiplayer challenges), the collector (the cars that we are adding) and wins (the competitions we won) are the principal axes. Everything has its progression, and they all contribute to the overall progress. While traveling through the islands we will find clothing stores, dealers, garages, etc., Sites that may interest you at that time or later, in addition with multiplayer specific challenges, as we have access to the network. This makes turns splashing pointlessly run out of challenges that can take at any time, whether in the form of throw a race or take some pictures.

If we talk about the islands, the most striking thing is that they propose a big environment to run, thanks to the creative license taken runners. The best example for this is the Ibiza, the truth is that there are very recognizable locations. Similarly, few roads, buildings and landscapes are very similar to real referents, while others are little or nothing, but still its fun. For example, Sant Miquel not look anything, nor is it in the correct location, or topography is correct, but in exchange, the roads can go at high speed, there is a balanced combination of asphalt and dirt roads (for off-road competitions.) Other routes are better learned (as the view of Dalt Vila), and others away from reality, but the significant thing is that the commitments between the real and credible stand out well, and always in favor of the gameplay. There is no such road or way to put both sports at top speed for many miles.

Even though we cannot make the equal the comparison of Oahu and the real game, the general feeling is that it must have taken the same result to find a balance where you always come out winning the game. And that's the thing to be noted:: Test Drive Unlimited 2 is a game, not a guidebook. What it symbolizes is a look at these sites and not a true mirror image of them. In the same way it looks beautiful, possibly omitting the ugliest areas, though we can find industrial areas and cities are not exactly beautiful.

We will also find some traffic while roaming through these places, but it has some logical points like there is much less dense at night, and late in the morning there will be no buses, but begin to emerge early in the morning. These are small details that indicates that the game does not look realistic, but they fulfill with internal rules of raised probability to avoid intrusion that is strictly necessary for the fun experience.

The game offers 3 types of driving, and it's something to be noticed because of difficulty levels also mean in practice. Range from arcade to full simulation, and the truth is that the response of vehicles is differently perceived; hence we must find what is most convincing in this regard. It is important because rivals are not very smart and indeed in the normal development of the game the challenge is as convoluted in some circuits, any specific requirement in a particular challenge.

This is curious because in the competition of the Solar luxurious Crown, the main engine of history, has worked on the personalities of some of those guys (like the unbearable posh Miami), but there is no change into anything concrete in their styles driving. On the positive side, some of these additional challenges beyond what is strictly racing are interesting. For example, while racing we should not go forward to the vehicle designated as race leader, it is the only one who sees where the zones are which one must pass to complete the path. These challenges to a player get driver's licenses for more competition (which is divided between Ibiza and Oahu) and multiplayer competition that dot the stage and integrate seamlessly into the rest of the game, infact it brings tremendous value to its replayability .

There is a also an online multiplayer oriented mini-casino but they are only free if already been credited to the promotion of the reserve game, the rest will need to pay for downloading the same. Besides, the most attractive part is the police pursuit racing and similar events, but perhaps the multiplayer had been benefited in the case of betting on a menu structure directly. The best options for this is to past a group of buddies together and form a club, contact management system that allows you to enjoy a much more efficient in this aspect of the game.

A visual level highlights the unbeaten design of all vehicles and how to get dirty to go by land. For instance, all of them are easily recognizable. In addition, the cycle between day and night and other quality details give a good solid appearance with a successful normalness texturing. There is a slight popping making evident the generation of some objects (especially, certain rocks or trees) in the distance, and even the shadow but the fps rate is stable in PC and Xbox 360, with some fluctuation evident in the case of PS3. The music and sound effects are good, but are perceived in limitation. The voices are entirely in Castilian, and the female voice explains various aspects of the game. It is very appropriate. The characters are perceived by some misguided and flat performances. In addition, the lip-syncing is often conspicuous by their absence.

Though, the static line and gameplay is very much similar with the previous episode and continues in many of its aspects, but there are some new islands added with few new features in peripheral aspects. It's something to be noticed for the gamer of the first episode. As per me this sequel is definitely better, perhaps you can offer pure novelties that will be really noteworthy.

    Conclusion:

Along with 2 islands, good choice of luxury cars, beautiful scenery, and careers in droves. Despite some technical and gameplay rather classic, it stands out for its originality and how to combine concepts of race and MMOs. Test Drive Unlimited 2 follows the guidelines set by its forerunner and certainly makes it better, in spite of the few substantial changes. Of course, the first came in 2007, and now the competition is fierce. It offers many things, as we have seen has some points that are not as accomplished as we would wish, but certainly it is a game of speed that has much to say and going to enjoy who would give an enormous amount of hours behind the wheel of these fireballs.
