If this is the software limit then you cannot do much in that. There are certain apps I am not sure they might work on Samsung GT-S5230 to increase the existing recording limit. All is all this is a nice phone and have ample of features. But in comparison to existing models in Android there are far better options available and that too on a very reasonable rate.
